Opened in 1965, in Paris, the archives were transferred in 1992 to the care of the research facility Kinder- und Jugendtheaterzentrum in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The ASSITEJ International Archives contain files on all centres in the world. New Materials are both received and made accessible continuously.
